How to build a solar panel

Step-3: Add extra solar equipment to your system, such as inverters and racks.

A solar panel kit will come with more detailed instructions (and usually racking) to assist secure your panels if you don’t trust yourself to build them from scratch. Buying a solar kit may be more useful since it already includes racking.

Racking is tough; you must evaluate whether racking equipment is suitable for your roof or ground mount. Looking through wholesale distributor sites for clamping and mounting equipment is almost overwhelming.

Step-4: Install the solar panel racking

When acquiring racking, the best option relies on the location of your panels. For example, will they be mounted on the ground or on your RV? This will dictate the type of racking you require. Step-5:  Install the solar panels on the racking system.

Step-6:  Ensure that the solar inverter is properly installed.
